My two years at LJIMC as a Mass Communication student have been a truly enriching journey. I had the chance to explore diverse areas like advertising, photography, script writing, radio, theatre, documentary filmmaking, etc. The college gave us practical exposure through field visits, cultural walks, and hands on projects that built real world skills. One of the most meaningful parts was working on a documentary film based on a real life story, going out, meeting real people, interviewing them, and capturing their life journey was an unforgettable experience. Working on producing a radio show and a media project was great experience. Later, our work across different subjects was screened in front of faculty and students, and we received valuable feedback that helped us grow. Working with classmates who became friends made the experience even more special. The faculty, visiting experts, and our Dean were incredibly supportive and approachable. I’m truly grateful for the learning, growth and memories LJIMC gave me.

Pursuing my Master’s in Media and Communication at LJIMC was a turning point in my journey, especially as someone passionate about photography. The faculty at LJIMC were not just knowledgeable, but truly inspiring — they encouraged me to see beyond the lens and think like a visual storyteller. Their constant guidance, along with real-world insights, helped me shape my creative vision and grow both technically and emotionally. Studying Mass Communication at LJ University was a great experience for me.
The teachers are very helpful and have good knowledge of the media industry. They always supported us and encouraged us to try new ideas.

We didn’t just learn from books we also did many practical things like making videos, writing news, doing interviews, and learning how media works in real life. LJ also gave us chances to work on real projects and do internships, which helped me build confidence.

The best thing about LJIMC is it’s omnipresence in mass communication. We got to explore not only a few but nearly each and every field that there is in the mass media paradigm from radio to films to journalism to advertising to theater and what not! From the 2 years that I have spent at department of LJIMC, all I can sum up is – it’s a goldmine & it’s a gold-rush! Grab all you can!

Lj institute of media and communication has got one of the best infrastructural facilities and brilliant faculty, a media college can have. As far as the placements are concerned, enough opportunities are provided to every student and it is upto the individual how you take it. I am really lucky and proud to have been a part of this institution because of the things i have learned over there.College has always been welcoming, informative, professional and clearly dedicated to the students.The course is very comprehensively designed and the faculties are exceptional. The guidance and the support of the professors throughout our course was incredible. The biggest plus point of this college is dr. Viral Shah, the principal of this college.  Whatever problem is there, tell them and get the solution immediately.

It was a great time we spent in LJ institute of mass communication. LJ has very wonderful faculty. They all are very co-operative and positive. It gives me great pleasure to say with pride that I have completed my mass communications from LJ institute. LJ has very good set- up of studio and recording room. They provide all the facilities like, good faculties, events, studio room, and recording room, cameras etc. the two years spent here were splendid and has helped me to grow better professionally and personally. The days which has been spend in LJ was the golden days of my life.

It was a rather fulfilling experience for me. The faculties who teach at the department of LJIMC are all renowned experts in their field, which makes us learn and extract from the best in the game. The department has a free-hand for the students’ creative ideas and will to pursue more than just academics. Its by far the best place to be at if you really wish to make it outside of the box!
