Proving its resilience to the world, the Indian Media & Entertainment industry was on the verge of a strong phase of growth, backed by rising consumer demand and improving advertising revenues. But unfortunately, this pandemic has worsened the situations. But employment and new businesses will be elevated to an incredible level once this pandemic situation is over. The points to focus would be Streaming services; research suggests that consumers are willing to pay only for a certain number of streaming services. Survey found that consumers have an average of three streaming video services, a number that has remained steady for two years. There is an opportunity to offer highly customized packages of content that, in addition to video, could include streaming of music and games, as well as the option for customers to accept ad-supported video, Broadcast content libraries, Digitization on media: The industry has been largely driven by increasing digitization and higher internet usage over the last decade. Internet has almost become a mainstream media for entertainment for most of the people. The Indian advertising industry is projected to be the second fastest growing advertising market in Asia after China. Ad- supported video: Advertising in exchange for free (non-subscription) content, 5G supporting media applications for future considerations, Augmented and virtual reality solutions, which includes,

1.  Highly interactive alternate to traditional gaming
2. Create educational program content that provide information in a much interesting manner
3. Immersion studies for entertainment industry, Internships of students for value added learning and profile strengthening. Social Media Marketing involves a good scope for new businesses, Virtual Master Classes with Domain Experts, video conferencing moderation etc are the new domain to explore.
